Young Celtic goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi is set to join a club in English League One after a loan deal has been agreed.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper will be linking up with 18th-placed Leyton Orient, according to the Daily Record. The English side were after another goalkeeper and have decided that Oluwayemi is their best option.
Supporters suspected that Ayr United may be in for the goalkeeper after he returned from his loan to Kilmarnock earlier this month. Scott Brown's side never made a move, but Celtic seemed happy to send the keeper out to get more gametime.
Oluwayemi joined Celtic in 2019 after moving to the club from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. Although he has never made a competitive appearance for the first team, he has been on loan to several clubs such as Cork City and Dunermline.
Kilmarnock were happy with his performances during his spell in Ayrshire as they thanked him on their website, saying: "During his time with the club, Tobi proved to be an excellent addition to the squad, both on and off the pitch, and quickly established himself as a popular and influential figure within the dressing room.
"Tobi's professionalism, attitude and commitment were evident throughout his spell, and his contribution was greatly appreciated by players, staff,

With the reluctance to consider permanent deals, it seems like the Celtic hierarchy has faith that Oluwayemi can make it at Parkhead. Despite not having made a competitive appearance yet, everyone has to remember that he is still young and has plenty of time to prove he belongs.
He is one of the four goalkeepers on Celtic's book. The club have Kasper Schmeichel, Viljami Sinisalo and Ross Doohan all contracted as well, so Oluwayemi would need to have a very fruitful spell if he wanted to get involved with the first team.
There is no doubt that Schmeichel will be retiring in the not-too-distant future, with his contract being up at the end of the season. Although Oluwayemi has been viewed as a long-term option for the position, with him attracting interest from down south, he may be eager to leave permanently in the summer for more gametime.
Josh Clarke is also a young Celtic goalkeeper out on loan at Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle; however, it is thought that the Jags may want to make a permanent move for him in the summer.
