It will be interesting to see what kind of changes Celtic make to the squad if they do end up sticking with Wilfried Nancy. The board seem intent on proving their decision to appoint the inexperienced Frenchman right. Let's hope that means that they are willing to back him with new signings in the future transfer windows.

At the same time, quite a few players could be headed for the exit door as well. And it looks like a 22-year-old is drawing interest with his current deal at Parkhead running down quickly.

It is a name that had so many expectations surrounding it when he was signed from Tottenham Hotspur. Unfortunately, none of those have been met so far, although he has never really received the opportunity to prove himself at Celtic either.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Tobi Oluwayemi is attracting interest from clubs in England and Europe. They are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old as he weighs up his future.

Oluwayemi was brought in from Tottenham Hotspur back in 2019. There was a lot of excitement around the move and many thought he would become the first-team goalkeeper one day.

It is very hard to get a chance between the posts at a club like Celtic though. Just ask Viljami Sinisalo, who has barely put a foot wrong when playing but is still stuck behind the struggling Kasper Schmeichel in the pecking order.

So, it is hard to imagine that Oluwayemi will become the first goalkeeper for Celtic anytime soon in the future. It might very well be the best step for him to seek a move away from Parkhead in hopes that he can find a club where he will be getting regular chances.
