A powerful banner was unveiled at Celtic Park ahead of Celtic's clash against Falkirk yesterday as the supporters made it clear that their opinion of the board hasn't changed.
The banner depicted Head of Celtic Security Mark Hargreaves, CEO Michael Nicholson and CFO Chris McKay dressed in cloaks as 'traitors' from the popular BBC show. The display was calling for the board to end the ban on the Green Brigade ultras group.
The Green Brigade have been banned for some time now after "safety incidents" involving the group, which the club claimed included threats against board members.
Fans have urged the board to remember Jock Stein's famous words: "Football without fans is nothing." So far, the hard-hitting quote has fallen on deaf ears.
January failings
The January transfer window hasn't improved people's thoughts as Celtic have, thus far, failed to bring in a permanent signing. Julián Araujo and Tomáš Čvančara have been receiving their plaudits, but some supporters feel it isn't enough.
Celtic have been linked with many players throughout the window but it seems that no news was ever good news for the Hoops. Most recently, the Celts lost out on Hungarian winger Damir Redzic after the Glasgow side's bid of £3.5 million was beat out by Red Bull Salzburg bidding £4.1 million, plus add-ons.
The Hoops have also had to opt for Lorient winger Joel Mvuka rather than their first target of Fares Ghedjemis. Talks for the Frosinone talent stalled after the two clubs couldn't agree on the structure of a £6.5 million deal, and Celtic supporters are angered that the board appear to be taking the cheap option whenever it is available.
The club have also left it late to bring in another centre-back, with it being reported that they re-entered the market yesterday evening. After recalling Stephen Welsh, who was having a fantastic stint at Motherwell, it seems the board would be happy to send him back to the Steelmen after he made only two appearances since returning.
Celtic support are "fed up"
Vocal Celtic fans made themselves known during the Falkirk game when a chant of "Stand up if you hate the board" rang around the stadium. To the pleasure of some groups of supporters, it would seem that a large portion of fans clapped along and stood up to the song.

The Celtic board appear to be straying further and further away from fan confidence as bans continue. Fan media remain locked out of press duties, and lots believe that the atmosphere has taken a significant blow since the Green Brigade were locked out.
It remains to be seen if the fan relationship will be repaired, but for now, it seems too far gone. A sad end to the winter window could prove calamitous for the board.
