With the international break quickly approaching, Celtic Women have had a host of players called up to represent their countries at various levels.

Round 18 of the Scottish Women's Premier League will take place on Sunday, February 22, before the players travel to their national camps. Players will return to their clubs mid-way through March, with Round 19 kicking off on March 15.

Celtic players to watch on international duty

Saoirse Noonan (Ireland)

Emma Lawton (Scotland)

Maria McAneny (Scotland)

Evie Rabjohn (England U23s)

Lisa Rodgers (Scotland U23s)

Darra Dawson (Scotland U19s)

Sienna McGoldrick (Scotland U19s)

McAneny and Lawton being called up to the Scotland first team is incredible. Both have been amazing for the Celts this season, and they deserve the chance to shine on the international stage.

Noonan may have been benched for the last few games now, but when she came on against Hearts, she was incredible, and although she'll rue her missed penalty against Rangers in the Sky Sports Cup semi-final, she deserves the call-up.

Lisa Rodgers has been fantastic so far for Celtic since being the main starting goalkeeper, and honestly, we would say she deserves a place in the first team for Scotland. However, she will be delighted with the call-up nonetheless, and hopefully, she can progress through the ranks quickly.

Darra Dawson and Sienna McGoldrick are continuing to develop well, and hopefully, they can make an impact in the games they will play for Scotland's 19s.

The fixture list

Scotland's first team will take on Luxembourg in two World Cup Qualifiers. One will be played away from home on March 3, with the other taking place at Hampden on March 7.

Scotland's 23s will take on the Netherlands in Inverness on March 2, with the 19s facing Belgium back-to-back on February 28 and March 3. Both games will be played in Belgium.

Ireland takes on France and the Netherlands. The game against the French will be played at home, with their Netherlands clash being away.

Rabjohn will also take on the French and the Dutch with England's 23s.

All focus on domestic action

Despite the call-ups, all eyes will be on a crucial SWPL clash on Sunday where Celtic will take on Hearts in Hamilton.

In the capital last week, the Ghirls secured their place in the semi-finals of the Women's Scottish Cup with a 4-3 victory after extra time over the Jambos.

Goals from Morgan Cross, Emma Westin, Hannah Luke and Lawton pushed the Celts to the next round, where they will now face Glasgow City at Hampden in May.
