For the third time this season, it appears Celtic fans have been snubbed by Sky Sports in favour of the Rangers’ match being shown.

It appears that once again Celtic fans have been dealt another blow by Sky Sports, with their pivotal match against Hibs after the international break being snubbed in favor of rival Rangers’ match against Aberdeen.

After a rough stretch of matches for the Hoops, Neil Lennon’s side finally turned their league form around with a crucial 4-1 victory over Motherwell this past Sunday riding on a Mohamed Elyounoussi hattrick and a late goal from Olivier Ntcham.

They currently sit at second in the Premiership table with 29 points, nine points behind the Rangers with two games in hand.

Their match against Hibernian on Saturday, November 21st was snubbed in favour of another top-four league match the following day for Sky Sports’ broadcast. This leaves Hoops fans having to pay a fee in order to view their match against the Hibs.

Due to the pandemic restrictions in place, this leaves many fans having to pay for multiple streaming services in order to watch the Bhoys play, potentially up to five different paid streaming services to view all of the club’s matches. Something that is not ideal by any stretch of the imagination, especially in the midst of these trying times.

While Rangers-Aberdeen is obviously another highly anticipated league match with both clubs sitting at first and third respectively, such a critical match for a club in the position of the Hoops at the moment would likely make for an electric one to watch.

With such a critical match being missed after two previous matches had already been snubbed by the broadcaster as well, it seems Hoops fans may have to shell out to watch the team play.
