The football world is a buzz with rumors of transfers and signing of fresh talent, Celtic is not without news of transfers.

The Fraser Forster to Celtic question continues

This has been the story of the week that has set social media channels ablaze. Will Celtic boss Neil Lennon’s most promising loanee stay or will he go? The Southampton bosses have taken their stance on transfers or some of their top loanees. Do we know if this spells disaster? Only time will tell.

We could see a transfer of £10 million for the keeper, and Southampton might also want a Celtic star thrown in to sweeten the deal some.

Craig Gordon, who would have stepped in to fill Forster’s boots, has went off to Hearts so someone new has to be drafted in to take up the GK spot on first team.

If not, Celtic have signed Vasilios Barkas to bring us on this coming season.

Craig Gordon moves on from The Bhoys

This is definitely a spanner in the works for the club. Craig Gordon moves on a the Forster deal remains in limbo.

He gave a heartfelt goodbye to the club and its fans this week. He had his ups and down, and his appearances with the club dropped off during Forster’s run. He wants to play as many games as he can before he calls it quits, and he can’t do that as backup.

We wish him all the luck in the world and continued success at his new club.

Craig Gordon will be missed.

Lennon plays bricklayer with a new defensive wall

The Forster deal might fall through, Gordon’s gone, Vasilios Markas has stepped in, so it’s save to say this wekk has really been dedicated to the goalkeepers. A strong defensive line really helps the keeper out in a tough spot, so they deserve their time in the spotlight.

It is uncertain on whether or not Kristoffer Ajer remains with The Bhoys and Jozo Simunovic is away for good it remains to be seen how Lennon will rebuild the wall.

Eddie muses on potential signings to bolster the defense and the rumors of young Branimir Kalaica joining up with the Hoops in his piece here.

Youngster rejects Leicester in favor of Celtic

Brendan Rodgers has had a rough go of this week, with his side losing to Chelsea and Everton. The fans are less than happy with the boss and now Leicester has missed out on a class signing.

Ts’oanelo Lets’osa came up in the Celtic Academy, he was a talent that Rodgers had his eye on but now it seems that the youngster has rejected Leicester’s offer and has opted to make his start in Celtic’s first team for his pro debut.

60 scouts wanted him to come to their teams following his performances on the youth circuit but the lad has made a beeline straight for The Bhoys.

Elyounoussi re-signs

Southampton gave a figure early on in the week for Mohamed Elyounoussi and the Scottish giants have agreed to pay up.

The Norwegian has decided to stay on for another loan spell, this is a huge boost to the push for 10IAR and shows that Celtic are ready to get what they want in this transfer window.

Elyounoussi has played his heart out for the club, winning the adoration of the fans in the process, and it will be exciting to see him in action this coming season.
