It looks like the Leicester City fans are starting to turn on Brendan Rodgers after the results have started to dry up for the former Celtic boss.

It was almost baffling when Brendan Rodgers decided to hang Celtic out to dry by taking the Leicester City job in the middle of the season. It felt like betrayal as the Northern Irish manager had claimed throughout his time at the club that he was a fan first and it was his dream job.

It would have been a different story if he had decided to stay at the club till the end of the season and then left. That would have been an understandable decision and at the end of the day, everyone knows that Celtic can’t compete financially with the top Premier League sides. But leaving in the middle of the season was something that had only his own interests in mind and could have easily derailed the club’s season.

Since then, Rodgers has done a commendable job at Leicester City and has them in the top four of the Premier League table at the time of writing. But cracks are starting to appear as expected as they have not been at the top of their game for some time now after a blistering start to the season. And Leicester City fans seem to be already starting to turn on the manager, while Celtic fans are enjoying looking from the outside:

Leicester City have fallen off and are in danger of falling out of the top four with Chelsea and Manchester United looking in good form. Of course, before the start of the season that would have been nothing unexpected but now the fans have high expectations from this side.

Unfortunately for Leicester City though, Rodgers seems to be quickly running out of ideas as the team are without a win since their return after the break.
