Celtic continue their quest to another Scottish Premiership title with their 3-1 win over Hamilton.

All of the Celtic goals came in the first half, and each one showcased some beauty from the Bhoys. Goals came from Olivier Ntcham, James Forrest and Scott Sinclair. Celtic now sit 5 points clear of the Rangers on the table for first place.

Callum McGregor was the center of attention in the opening minutes of the contest. He worked some great interplay with virtually everybody on the squad. McGregor collected the ball and sent in Sinclair who lobbed it over the touchline. The ball eventually fell to Ntcham who knocked it home for the first goal of the fixture.

Hamilton’s Danny Redmond equalized with a fine finish of his own in the 29th minute. The Celts would come back however with an amazing finish of their own.

Stuart Armstrong delivered a clean pass through the hearts of the Hamilton defense and sent in Forrest towards goal. The 26-year-old simply walked around the keeper to slide it home for the 2-1 lead.

Not even a minute later, Forrest got sent in down the wing and sent a cross towards Sinclair. The midfielder settled the ball down and curled a stunner past Hamilton keeper Gary Woods. It was 3-1 in favor of the Hoops, and the dagger was finally put into Hamilton.

Rakish Bingham hit the post past Craig Gordon, but the ball eventually got cleared away. Hamilton did try to come back with some resilience of their own, but it was Celtic who would stay strong and earn their 12th league win of the campaign.

The likes of Aberdeen, Hearts and Rangers all won their respective matches today. Celtic did a nice job keeping cool and fighting off each individual side from getting closer to the top of the table.

Each individual player shined in their roles today. Sinclair remains active in the goal column as he notched his 8th tally of the season. McGregor is in inspired for lately, and he only maintained that form today. Also credit Brendan Rodgers for instructing the Bhoys to hold onto possession and never hold back.

Celtic have now extended their unbeaten run in the Premiership to 56 games. The Bhoys are tied with Portuguese side Benfica for most consecutive wins in domestic play. Celtic have remarkably not made the top ten in Europe on that list.
