Which positions will Celtic look to strengthen in the summer transfer window? That is a question a lot of fans want to know the answer to. The Hoops looked very shaky in the second half of the campaign and while their defeat in the Scottish Cup final at the hands of Aberdeen was unexpected, it did not exactly come as a surprise to anybody.

So, one would be hoping that the club have recognised their issues in several positions across the pitch. Reinforcements need to be brought in in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Celtic do need to strengthen on the flanks. Jota picked up a long-term injury recently and will be out for six to nine months. His absence was felt in the final for sure.

Celtic have been linked with quite a few wingers in recent months. Who will they end up going after in the summer transfer window though?

As reported by Anthony Joseph on Sky Sports, Celtic had bids rejected for Sarpsborg's Sondre Orjasaeter. The Norwegian winger is a player they have still been monitoring closely and could go back in for him this summer.

It remains to be seen how things play out for Celtic in the summer transfer window. The Norwegian winger is certainly a player who has been linked with the club in the past and it is very possible that the Hoops might end up revisiting that interest.

He is not the only winger who is on Celtic's radar at the moment though. Michel-Ange Balikwisha is another such player who has been linked with the club for quite some time. The Belgian talent has endured an injury-riddled campaign but has found his form in recent times.

A new name that has emerged in recent days is Tyrhys Dolan, whose contract at Blackburn Rovers is set to run out this summer and he is going to be available as a free agent as a result. There have been suggestions that the Rangers are keeping an eye on him as well.
