Celtic have not lost any of their last ten Scottish Premiership matches. While they are in decent form, mistakes have meant that they've dropped points in crucial matches and they find themselves behind rivals Rangers. Brendan Rodgers will want this to turn on its head as the season enters its most important stage.

In the upcoming summer transfer window, Celtic are being linked with some big moves. Most notably, they must sign a goalkeeper to replace Joe Hart, who will be retiring after this season.

There are, of course, other positions which Rodgers needs to strengthen. On the other hand, there are players who could be on their way out soon.

One of those players could be Liel Abada. The winger has been left out of the squad by Rodgers in recent matches and it's difficult to see a future for him at the club. It would make sense for both parties to go their separate ways, considering the circumstances.

Celtic player could join Giorgos Giakoumakis at Atlanta United

As reported by Sport 5, Atlanta United and Austin FC are showing interest in Abada. Both MLS teams want the winger who wants to leave Celtic and are holding talks with his agent.

MLS rules allow for clubs to complete transfers and player trades until late April, meaning there is plenty of time for Abada to discuss a move. From the player's perspective, though, the MLS is likely his best destination if he would like to secure game time fast, with the season commencing just recently.

Abada signed a long-term contract with Celtic just some months back but it makes sense for his stint at the club to be cut short, considering the situation. Interestingly, he could join up with former teammate, Giorgos Giakoumakis, who has been Atlanta United's star man since making the move.
