Hearts team news
Barrie McKay faces a race against time to be fit for this match having been missing from action for two months now. Furthermore, Craig Halkett is an injury concern, since he limped off against Airdrieonians a couple of weeks ago. He didn't feature in Hearts' recent match against Hibernian, so he could be primed for a return against Celtic, if he has successfully recovered in time.
Celtic team news
The biggest news of the week involves Maik Nawrocki, as the defender missed the midweek game against Dundee through injury. Thankfully, Cameron Carter-Vickers didn't need to play the whole match since The Hoops were in cruise control. The Polish centre-back will hope to return from injury soon, with it not thought to be too serious.
As reported by BBC, Rodgers said about Nawrocki's issue: "He has felt his hamstring in the game so that will set him out, I don't think for too long, but a period of time."
Unless anything unexpectedly positive comes out, it doesn't look like Reo Hatate will play in this one. There is not believed to be a clear timeframe for his return at the moment either.

Hearts vs Celtic prediction
Celtic were brilliant in their last match and despite Hearts having a good season so far, the Hoops have to be considered the favourites on the back of their midweek performance. I will go with Hearts 0-2 Celtic.
