There has been plenty of speculation around Celtic since the transfer window opened. It has been justified as well, considering the number of players who have arrived and also those who have departed over the past few weeks. Things are not expected to stop anytime soon though as more signings are expected.
One of the areas where Celtic want to improve is left-back. Kieran Tierney's arrival as a free agent has boosted the Hoops but at the same time, we have seen Greg Taylor leave at the end of his contract and join Greek club PAOK.
Flavio Nazinho, Cercle Brugge's Portuguese U21 international, has been linked with a move to Celtic lately. But on the other hand, rumours of the club wanting to bring back Jeffrey Schlupp are cropping up in the media once again as well.
Amid all this, Schlupp has filmed a video training in a Celtic kit. Naturally, that has led to further speculation about a reunion with the versatile 32-year-old, who is available as a free agent this summer.

Schlupp spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic from Crystal Palace. He started brilliantly and was one of the Hoops' standout players as they held Bayern Munich to a draw at Allianz Arena in the Champions League.
Schlupp's form would fade away though and by the end of the season, he was a backup option to Taylor. But now available as a free agent with his Crystal Palace contract running out, a reunion would be worth considering.
Celtic need a reliable cover option at left-back due to Tierney's injury history. Schlupp is more than good enough to fill that role. And his versatility could see him filling gaps in other positions as well, depending on the situation.
In many ways, a move for someone like Schlupp would make sense if Celtic are not able to get a deal done for someone like Nazinho, who has long-term potential. The Ghana international is proven at the top level and Brendan Rodgers already knows what he can expect from him.
Yes, Schlupp's form faded away after a bright start, but then again, one cannot deny that he was absolutely brilliant at his best. For a good while, a significant portion of the support had wanted the club to sign him on a permanent basis. His shaky performances towards the end of the season meant that the situation changed.
