Celtic have been left in a tough position right now after Jota suffered an injury in the game against Dundee United, in which the Premiership title was sealed. Unfortunately, it is a long-term issue and will keep the Portuguese winger out for the next six to nine months. As a result, the Hoops will need to find someone to take his place in the squad, ideally this summer.

Celtic have been linked with quite a few wingers in recent times. Sondre Orjeseater and Michel-Ange Balikwisha are names that come to mind immediately.

Now, it looks like another winger is on their radar. And he is set to be available as a free agent this summer, making a move even more attractive for Celtic. They are not the only ones with an eye on the Englishman though.

As reported by The Herald, Celtic and Rangers are both monitoring the situation of Blackburn Rovers winger Tyrhys Dolan. He is rated in the £5million to £10 million bracket and will be out of contract this summer.

Dolan has enjoyed a solid season with Blackburn Rovers. Now, at 23 years of age, he might be ready to take the next step in his career. Moving to a club like Celtic would certainly represent that.

Dolan has played mostly on the right flank this season but has the ability to play in the number 10 role as well. According to Transfermarkt, he has scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists in 47 appearances.

In many ways, Dolan would be an excellent signing for Celtic and ticks a lot of the boxes that the club look for when bringing someone in. He looks set to be available as a free agent, is someone who has the potential to develop and then move on for a significant transfer fee in the future. That is the club's entire player trading model.

It is also worth mentioning that Jota's injury is not the only issue Celtic are facing on the wings right now. Nicolas Kuhn, one of their best players this season, has also been heavily linked with an exit.
