We are going to have to talk about Kasper Hogh's finishing.
This is dangerous territory to cover, given the Dane has instantly become a cult hero among some fans, and I am not questioning that. In fact, I wrote a story a few weeks back explaining why he should become a cult hero because of his approach to the game and good humour off it. Let's also make it clear that this is not a blame game. There were many more players to blame on Tuesday night.
I will also add, before we got to the nitty-gritty, that Hogh is offering a lot to Celtic's game as a whole. He is largely doing a good job of holding the ball up and bringing wingers into the game, which is vital in Martin O'Neill's situation. But he is missing too many chances.
Hogh actually joked after his first game that he needed 'shooting practice' and the following week, he scored four times in one game. But his performances since suggest he might want to do more of that shooting practice.
Celtic need to take chances, and that is going to become even more important in Europe, even in the Europa League. They are creating chances for Hogh, but he is not putting them away.
He has shown he has the ability to be clinical with that four-goal game, but since then, and in the first game, his finishing has not been where it needs to be.
There have been too many must-score chances squandered, and even in the first half against LASK, he stabbed a good chance wide, placed a near-free shot into the hands of the goalkeeper and then stumbled into the goalkeeper while trying to chip the ball over him.
The data is not available yet, but it will be interesting to see what his Xg stats look like after the LASK game, with more chances he should have scored.
This isn't to hammer Hogh - it is early in his time at the club. But we are getting to the point where it needs to be acknowledged that his finishing has not been good enough for an £11million player who is expected to score goals.
It can be ignored when Celtic are winning, but when the Bhoys don't get away with it, as was the case on Tuesday night, it is going to become more of a problem. The ability is there, but Hogh needs to find some consistency and produce. Once he does, he is going to be one hell of a signing. That much is clear.
