Tottenham Hotspur recently said goodbye to Ange Postecoglou, sacking the Celtic hero merely weeks after he had ended the club's 17-year wait for a trophy and guided them to the Europa League. It is a decision that did not go down well with a lot of their supporters but football moves quickly and the search for their next manager is on. Thomas Frank has been installed as the early favourite to the get the job.

Frank has done an excellent job at Brentford since joining them in 2016, initially as assistant head coach. Not only did he get them promoted to the Premier League but has also established them in the top flight, something that has proven especially difficult in recent times.

But now, it looks like he might be looking for his next challenge. And that might bring about some bad news for Celtic as well.

As reported by The Mirror, Frank has told Brentford that he wants to move on and take the Tottenham Hotspur job. Also, he wants Spurs to swoop in and win the race for Bryan Mbeumo's signature.

For the past week or so, it has been all about Mbeumo and Manchester United. In fact, it is believed that Man Utd have already made offers for the Brentford standout. Now, it looks like Tottenham Hotspur are in the race for him as well.

Why should Celtic worry about Mbeumo moving, whether it be to Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur? Well, that is because reports in England have suggested that Brentford will try to sign Nicolas Kuhn as his replacement.

Kuhn had an excellent first half of the 24/25 season, often carrying Celtic to wins. But his form fell off from around February and never really recovered after that. But still, he remains an important player and not one that the fans will want to see leave unless an extraordinary offer arrives.
