As we approach the end of the summer transfer window, it looks like things are picking up pace at Celtic. The club have been very active in terms of incomings and outgoings over the course of the summer and it looks like that could be set to continue.
Georgios Giakoumakis and Jota are two players who are rumoured to be close to moving to Parkhead before the transfer window slams shut. But on the other hand, there could be a major departure or two as well.
One player who has been linked with a Parkhead exit for a long time now is Odsonne Edouard. And it looks like a move is not far away.
As tweeted out by John Percy, Crystal Palace have agreed a transfer fee of around £15 million for Edouard with a medical set for the morning:

Edouard looks set for Celtic exit
On the top of his game, the Frenchman is arguably the best player in all of Scotland. But he has not been near his best for a while now. As a result, he has not been a massive difference maker for the club in recent times.
With him being in the final 12 months of his current deal at Parkhead, letting him leave this summer feels like the right decision. Otherwise, with a contract extension looking very unlikely, he would become a free agent next summer.
It will be interesting to see though how the club replace Edouard if he does complete a move to Crystal Palace. While Giakoumakis is believed to be closing in on a Parkhead move, one has to feel that the Hoops could still be short of options up top considering neither Albian Ajeti nor Leigh Griffiths have impressed this season. As a result, hopefully they will try to sign another striker before the transfer window slams shut.
