Kyogo should have played more centrally

We saw Kyogo spend most of the game on the left, and he did not look as lively or as effective as he normally does. He did not have a bad game, but it was not his best either.

But when he moved to a more central position later on in the game is when we saw him really come to life. The Japanese star got two big chances as well but his decision making was not the best. He probably should have passed it to Ryan Christie when he went for the shot while he should have gone for goal when he tried to play it to a teammate the next time.

But the Hoops looked much more likely to score when he was in the centre than when not. Of course, this is an interesting problem for Postecoglou to solve since Kyogo is not a physical presence in the box, but his incredible movement means that he finds himself in the right place very often.

Same old problems for Celtic

Celtic have not won a Glasgow Derby in seven games now. They have lost six and drawn one of those games. It is safe to say that that is not a good record and the club needs to win these games if they are to challenge for the Premiership this season.

This afternoon, we once again saw what has stopped them from winning these games recently. Odsonne Edouard definitely should have found the back of the net in the first-half while Kyogo had two chances late on as well. But none of them were taken, which has been a problem for the Hoops in big games over the last year or so.

On the other hand, defending set pieces remains a worry. They have conceded a number of goals from headers against the Rangers in recent Glasgow Derbies. And this was another one.

Also, it felt like after a great start, the Hoops faded away and could not get out of the blocks in the second half at all. They might have gotten a few chances late on but by then, it was too late to get a result out of this game.
