Journalist appears to drop major Celtic transfer hint

Celtic have been very active in the summer transfer window. They have already brought in Liam Shaw, Osaze Urhoghide, Liel Abada, Kyogo Furuhashi, Carl Starfelt, Joe Hart, James McCarthy, Josip Juranovic and Liam Scales.

The likes of Kyogo and Abada have already started to make their presence felt at Parkhead and the club will be hoping that the others can do the same as well as they settle into their new surroundings. As a result, the fans should be delighted with the moves that they have made. But the Hoops might not stop there.

Rumours have suggested that they might be closing in on a move for Georgios Giakoumakis. And it looks like if Odsonne Edouard leaves, more players could arrive at Parkhead.

Could Celtic make more signings this summer?

It is safe to say that the Hoops have done very well in their squad rebuild till now, especially considering the circumstances and that it has been only one transfer window.

But with Edouard still being linked with a move away from Parkhead, could the club be about to bring in more signings if the Frenchman ended up leaving this summer?

Edouard has been one of the most important parts of this team for quite a few years now and on top of his game, he might very well be the best player in all of Scotland. But with him being in the final 12 months of his contract, it might make sense for the club to let him leave this summer.

If he was to indeed leave, they would definitely need to bring in a replacement for him. What could make things very tricky though is the fact that we are quickly approaching the end of the transfer window and it will be very difficult to get things done in such a short span of time.
