Celtic have received offer with the player open to move
If this transfer window has taught football fans anything, it is that anything can happen. Celtic themselves have already made quite a few moves this summer and signed a number of players.
Some of them have already started to make a big impact at the club, while the fans would be hoping that the club’s other new signings start to find their feet quickly as well and make their presence felt at Parkhead.
But it looks like it could be the other way round that one of their current players could be headed soon.
As reported by the Daily Record, Dundee have made a loan move for Leigh Griffiths and it is thought that the striker is up for making his return over a decade after leaving the club to join Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Could Griffiths leave Celtic to join Dundee on loan?
Griffiths has found first-team minutes hard to come by recently. And with the Hoops being heavily linked with a move for Georgios Giakoumakis as well, he could possibly find himself further down the pecking order soon.
As a result, a move away from Parkhead does make sense for both the club and the player at this point of time. Now, it remains to be seen if something materialises in this summer transfer window. It appears that Dundee are open to the prospect of signing the 31-year-old on loan.
One has to feel that any Griffiths move would depend on what happens when it comes to the club’s other strikers. At this point of time, Odsonne Edouard is being heavily linked with a transfer exit himself with the striker in the final 12 months of his current deal.
If the Frenchman was to leave and the Hoops were unable to sign a replacement for him, it feels unlikely that they would let Griffiths leave. What makes things even more interesting is how close we are to the transfer window closing.
