Celtic have had an impressive summer transfer window till now. While they might have started slow, at the end of the day, they have made several solid additions to their squad, some of whom have already started to make their mark at Parkhead.
Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada, Carl Starfelt, Joe Hart, James McCarthy, Josip Juranovic, Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhoghide have all arrived this summer and more additions are expected.
This just goes on to show the magnitude of the squad rebuild that was required at Parkhead this summer after a disappointing 2020/21 campaign that saw them finish trophyless after a long time. Things are starting to look up now though with the Hoops having won six games on the trot and outscored their opponents 24 to 4 in those games.
But it looks like Postecoglou still wants to strengthen his squad further. As reported by the Daily Record, he is keen on another central defender which would likely be a loan move and will look at a versatile midfielder and another striker, especially if Odsonne Edouard ends up leaving this summer.

Celtic could make more signings this summer
It is safe to say that the Hoops have shown tremendous improvement over the course of the last month or so. Even at the start of the campaign, it was looking like this could be another tough season.
But as new signings have arrived, they have appeared to find their rhythm and adjust to Postecoglou’s system. Players like Kyogo, Abada and Hart have already made an impact on this team. And hopefully the others will find their feet in Scottish football quickly as well.
This team is playing some tremendous football already as it is and more additions will only make the squad even stronger. It will be interesting to see how many deals Celtic are able to get over the line before the summer transfer window closes.
