Kyogo Furuhashi sends brilliant message after another Celtic goal

Kyogo Furuhashi is already looking like a brilliant signing for Celtic and someone who can be a massive part of this team for years to come.

When the club signed Furuhashi, most people would have expected him to take some time to adjust to his new surroundings and teammates. At the end of the day, he was coming from the J1 League and had never played for a European club.

The Japanese star has made an incredible start at Celtic though and is already looking like one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 5 goals in 5 appearances for the Hoops so far.

This includes a hattrick on his Parkhead debut against Dundee last weekend. And it looks like Furuhashi is certainly enjoying the home atmosphere. Following the club’s 3-2 win over Hearts in the Scottish League Cup, a game in which he scored a goal as well, the Japanese star posted pictures on his Twitter with the caption reading:

"What a feeling to score in Celtic Park… Truly a paradise!"

Furuhashi can be a superstar for Celtic

While it is still early days for Furuhashi at the club, the early signs are very encouraging. He looks like a player who has already adjusted to the Scottish game.

He scored a brilliant goal against Hearts on the day, but what was perhaps even more impressive was his outside of the boot pass to James Forrest leading up to Odsonne Edouard’s goal. It was absolutely brilliant and showed that Furuhashi has much more to offer than just goals. His versatility has been impressive as well.

If he can continue to perform like this and develop his game even further moving forward, the sky is the limit for Furuhashi. He looks like a sensational player who has come in and become a fan favourite immediately. And he has the potential to become an absolute superstar at Parkhead.
