Despite the impressive performances of Anthony Ralston over the past few weeks, right-back remains an area that Celtic need to strengthen in this summer transfer window.
There is not much depth behind Ralston in the position as he is the only recognised right-back in the squad right now. As a result, Ange Postecoglou could certainly do with another option there.
The Hoops have been heavily linked with Aurelio Buta over the past several weeks but that move is believed to be off the table now. And recent rumours had suggested that the club were closing in on a move for Josip Juranovic.
It is safe to say that that was exciting news. Juranovic is a Croatian international and is someone who could be a brilliant fit in Postecoglou’s style of football. But now, it looks like a move for Juranovic might not happen either. As reported by Index.hr, Celtic are not ready to pay the transfer fee that Legia Warsaw are looking for and the difference is so big at the moment that it does not look like a deal will be possible at all.

Celtic might not sign Juranovic this summer
It is safe to say that Juranovic could be a brilliant signing for the Hoops. He has solid experience at both club and international level, and could be a great fit in Postecoglou’s system as well.
Going forward, he is absolutely brilliant and is good defensively as well. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored once and provided 8 assists in 32 appearances last season for Legia Warsaw.
But it looks like a move might not be on the table at the moment, and the Hoops might have to look towards other options. They have been recently linked with Manchester City’s Yan Couto as well but that will be a loan move and not a permanent deal.
