Celtic have already brought in quite a few players this summer. And some of them have certainly made impressive starts to their time at Parkhead.

Kyogo Furuhashi has four goals to his name in just two starts, with a hattrick on his Parkhead debut. On the other hand, Liel Abada has looked very exciting as well and at 19 years of age, he is expected to get even better moving forward.

Carl Starfelt and Joe Hart have featured as well, and will hopefully find their feet in Scottish football quickly. We are yet to see James McCarthy play in the Hoops. While Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhoghide are young players, and would be expected to take some time to adjust to their new surroundings.

Yet there are still a few positions in the squad which might need reinforcements. One of them is right-back. And as tweeted out by Izak Ante Sucic, Josip Juranovic is just ‘one step away’ from joining Celtic. The transfer fee is believed to be €3 million.

Juranovic could be a brilliant signing for Celtic

Anthony Ralston has been very impressive in his recent performances, even scoring a couple of wonderful goals. But there is not much depth in the position at the moment, with the 22-year-old being the only recognised right-back in the squad.

Thus, Ange Postecoglou could certainly do with another option there and someone like Juranovic could be a brilliant signing for the Hoops.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Juranovic has scored once and provided 10 assists in 40 appearances for Legia Warsaw. He has also represented the Croatia national team on 10 occasions.

Thus, the 25-year-old right-back can be a solid addition. He has some top level experience already and could thrive in Postecoglou’s style of football. It remains to be seen if the Hoops can get a deal over the line though.
