Celtic put in a brilliant performance to come out with a 6-0 win against Dundee. Kyogo Furuhashi got a hattrick on his Parkhead debut while Tom Rogic, Anthony Ralston and Odsonne Edouard scored one each.

It was the Hoops’ best performance in a long time as it looks like things are starting to fall into place under Ange Postecoglou. The fans must be excited about what is to come in the future as it is clear that this team is improving with every game.

They had gotten a 4-2 win away against FK Jablonec in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie in midweek. And now, this big win must give the players a lot of confidence moving forward.

But the club have been handed an injury worry. Sports writer Graeme McGarry posted a video on Twitter of Edouard limping from the field after taking a knock in the post-match training session.

Potential Edouard injury could be a massive blow for Celtic

Now, it is not clear whether the problem is serious or not and we will have to wait to find that out. But this could be a worry for the Hoops considering the fact that the Frenchman has been linked with a transfer exit in the near future, with clubs from the Premier League believed to be interested in signing him.

Recent rumours suggest that the club could be looking for a transfer fee of around £20 million in order to let Edouard leave. But if he picks up an injury, any potential summer move could be put in doubt.

That would be a dual worry for Celtic. On one hand, the transfer fee that they would receive for Edouard’s exit could be used in strengthening this squad further. On the other hand, the striker is in the final 12 months of his contract and will become a free agent next summer. Let’s just hope that the knock that he picked up in the post-match training session is nothing serious.
