At this point of time, James Forrest, Mikey Johnston, Karamoko Dembele and Liel Abada are the four recognised wingers at Celtic. While Kyogo Furuhashi is capable of playing on the flanks as well, he would be expected to be played as a striker as that is where he has featured most often and found great success in.
Unfortunately, both Johnston and Dembele have picked up injuries recently. On the other hand, Forrest spent the majority of the previous campaign out on the sidelines due to injuries as did Johnston.
Abada has looked very good in his first few appearances for the club and looks like someone who can be a feature in this team for years to come. But he is still just 19 years of age.
As a result, the club are expected to make a move for another winger this summer. And one player who they have been linked with over the past several months is Kyle Edwards. The 23-year-old is a free agent right now and was on trial with Reading recently but he has tweeted out, confirming that he has not signed with the Championship club:
Just wanted to say a quick thank you to @ReadingFC for the pre season experience. Unfortunately couldn’t get pen to paper due the current situation. A great club with great people wish them all the best for the season 👊🏾

Would Edwards be a good signing for Celtic?
Edwards has been linked with the Hoops for quite a while now and it is not hard to see why. The former West Bromwich Albion star is very comfortable taking on his man on the wings and with a little bit of improvement on his end product he could be a very good player.
If he moved to a club like Celtic, he will get a lot of opportunities to do that due to the sheer number of goal scoring chances that are created every game. In fact, not taking these chances has been a worry for the club for a while now.
Kristijan Lovric is another player whose name has been brought up as a potential Celtic transfer target in recent weeks. The Croatian winger has been sensational for HNK Gorica over the past few seasons and it is not hard to see why the club are being linked with him. Rumours suggest that a €5 million transfer fee might be required to sign him this summer.
