The new Celtic manager, Ange Postecoglou, has arrived in Glasgow to start his job. And it looks like he already has a pretty clear idea of what he wants to do at the club next season.
Postecoglou spoke to the media and the fans for the first time this afternoon, since being appointed as the Hoops manager. And it looks like he will be looking to bring the attacking style of football that has made him famous, to Parkhead as well.
One man who has already played in that style of football is Tom Rogic, who was a regular in the Australian national team, during his Postecoglou’s time as their manager. As a result, the two will already know each other pretty well.
Naturally, one has to wonder what the manager’s plans are for Rogic. It was not too long ago that it had looked like he was headed out of Parkhead, only for him to stay. At one point of time last season, it had looked like he was back in the first-team picture as well. As reported by The Scottish Sun, while speaking about the Australian midfielder, Postecoglou said:
"“He’s certainly someone I’m looking forward to working with again.“I’m hoping we can get him fit and playing the football I know he’s shown here at different times, and I know he can show in my style of football because he’s already done it with the national team.”"

Postecoglou will look to get Rogic playing his best football for Celtic once again
There is no doubt that at the top of his game, Rogic is one of the best players at the club. He just has that ability to make things happen out of nowhere. Something like that cannot be taught.
The Australian has not been at the top of his game for quite some time now though and injuries have played a huge part in that.
One can only hope that someone like Postecoglou, who already knows how to get the best out of the midfielder, can get him back playing at the top of his game. Because Rogic at his best is a joy to watch and one of the best players in the entire Scottish Premiership.
