It looks like the Celtic squad is set to undergo a massive overhaul over the course of the next several months. A number of first-team stars are expected to leave Parkhead in the near future and many new faces could arrive in order to replace them.
One such player who could be on his way out of Parkhead this summer is Kristoffer Ajer. The Norwegian defender has only a year left on his current deal and as a result, a transfer away appears to make sense for both the club and the player at this stage.
A number of clubs are believed to be interested in signing Ajer. He has been linked with multiple Premier League clubs as well as Bayer Leverkusen in recent times. And as reported by Fussball Transfers, the defender is on the list of RB Leipzig as well.
With it looking very likely that Ajer will be on his way out this summer, all this interest in his signature is good news for the Hoops as it will only increase their chances of getting a solid transfer fee for him.

RB Leipzig are interested in Celtic star
It is not hard to see why clubs like RB Leipzig would be interested in Ajer. He has tremendous potential and not too long ago, was rated at around £25 million.
With just a year left on his contract though, it is unlikely that Celtic will get that big of a transfer fee this summer and there is a feeling that any transfer fee above £10 million could be considered as solid on the part of the Hoops.
Of course, losing a player like Ajer would be a massive blow for the club. Even last season, he was one of the most consistent players in the team despite being part of a backline that struggled for form through the course of the campaign. And it goes without saying that the club will have to try and sign a replacement for him, if or when he leaves.
