A number of Celtic players are expected to leave the club over the course of the next few months. One of them is Odsonne Edouard.

Ever since arriving in a club record £9 million transfer, Edouard has been the talisman for the Hoops. Despite not being at his best this time around, he has scored more than 20 goals through the course of the campaign, the third successive season that he has achieved the feat.

Thus, it goes without saying that he is a very important part of this squad. And when or if he leaves, the club will need to replace him.

Of course, the transfer fee that his departure will bring could help the Hoops find that replacement. It looks like a deal could ultimately happen for a transfer fee in the range of £15-20 million. Edouard leaving would be a blow for Celtic but it is one that looks inevitable

It goes without saying that Edouard is a massive part of this team. He might very well be the best player in all of Scotland when on form. And while we might have just seen flashes of that quality this season, there is no question about his abilities.

As a result, when or if he does leave, it will be a huge blow to the Hoops. But at this point of time, it appears to be one that is almost inevitable.

Edouard has been linked with a Parkhead exit for quite some time now and with just a year left on his current deal, the Hoops have very little choice but to let him leave this summer. And Leicester City, managed by Brendan Rodgers, appear to be his most likely destination at the moment.
