Celtic are not going to win any silverware this season. That is sure even before a ball is kicked at Ibrox on Sunday.
On the other hand, the Rangers have also won all they could this season, having already been knocked out of the Scottish Cup and won the Premiership title. Thus, there is not a lot to play for in the upcoming Glasgow Derby. But these games are always important and this one will be as well. For the Hoops, it will perhaps be more important than Steven Gerrard’s side.
Firstly, they have not beaten the Rangers this season till now and should be keen to change that at Ibrox, as this will be their last chance to do so. Secondly, a win will also prevent Steven Gerrard’s side from finishing the season without a defeat in league competition. And finally, this will be Scott Brown’s final Glasgow Derby as he is set to leave for Aberdeen at the end of the season. Thus, the players should be keen to give him a parting gift.
Davie Provan has given John Kennedy some advice regarding tomorrow’s game. He wrote in his column in The Scottish Sun:
"If the interim boss is to end Gers’ unbeaten league run he has to have a proper go.Playing Leigh Griffiths up alongside Odsonne Edouard would be a good start."

Should Griffiths start for Celtic vs the Rangers?
It is safe to say that Griffiths has not been at the top of his game this season and he has not featured much either. But, that does not change the fact that he is arguably still the most natural goalscorer at Parkhead.
And scoring has been the Hoops’ biggest problem in the previous Glasgow Derbies this season, although there have been plenty of chances to do so. As a result, it might make sense giving Griffiths a start and see if he can find the back of the net.
At the end of the day, there is not much pressure on the players to perform tomorrow and hopefully that will bring the best out of them.
