Celtic is looking to avoid going an entire season without a win over the Rangers. So far, they have lost three and drawn one of the Glasgow Derbies through the course of this campaign.
Steven Gerrard’s men have not lost yet in the Premiership this season. However, they are winless from their last two matches, including a Scottish Cup quarter-final defeat to St. Johnstone in a penalty shootout. And the big question going into the Glasgow Derby for the Rangers is going to be their midfield. They could be without as many as three of their key midfielders.
Scottish international Ryan Jack is out for the remainder of the season. On loan from French Ligue 2 side Amiens, Bongani Zungu will miss through suspension. Lastly, Scott Arfield could also miss through injury after failing to recover in time for their Scottish Cup tie against St. Johnstone.
Assuming Arfield remains sidelined, that means that the Rangers would likely play Glenn Kamara, Steven Davis and Joe Aribo in the midfield. Still, it is admittedly a solid midfield, though it is a midfield that Celtic must relish going up against.

Celtic must get a win against the Rangers
For The Hoops, it will be Scott Brown’s last Glasgow Derby. Whether or not you believe he should be playing, it’s hard to see John Kennedy dropping Brown for this match.
Additionally, Nathan Patterson is out through suspension for the Rangers. He had an impressive performance in the last Derby and looks set to be replaced by James Tavernier, who has recently returned from injury.
Also, you have to wonder how motivated Gerrard’s side will be, having already won the league and with no other title to play for this season.
Regardless of who plays, the Hoops must find a way to get a win at Ibrox and end the season with something positive. Otherwise, they will go a full season without a win over their Glasgow rivals and will also hand them the chance to finish the Premiership season without a defeat.
