After a disappointing campaign, Celtic are facing a rebuild in the summer as they aim to return to the top of Scottish football and win back the Premiership title from the Rangers.
A number of changes are expected to take place at Parkhead over the next few months. That includes the possible arrival of a new manager, new players, a director of football and of course, Dominic McKay replacing Peter Lawwell after 17 years at the club.
But one of the biggest tasks for the Hoops in the summer would be to replace Odsonne Edouard, who is expected to leave the club at the end of this campaign with only a year left on his current contract at that point of time. If the move does not happen, he will become a free agent in the summer of 2022.
While talking on The Transfer Window Podcast and as reported by HITC, journalist Ian McGarry said that both Liverpool and Arsenal are chasing the highly-rated Frenchman:
"“Liverpool and Arsenal are two teams who are chasing Odsonne Edouard of Celtic, Duncan, a player who we have mentioned a few times on the podcast.”"

The Celtic star has been linked with a Premier League move for a long time
Odsonne Edouard has been the talisman for Celtic for quite some time now. Despite being considered out of form this season, he has found the back of the net 20 times and has crossed the 20-goal mark for the club in three consecutive seasons now. He is also the all-time record goalscorer for the France Under-21 side, with 15 goals to his name for them.
Thus, it is not hard to see why any club would want him. The rumours linking him to Arsenal have existed for quite some time, and now it looks like Liverpool are also in the race for his signature, with Jurgen Klopp’s side struggling for goals in recent times.
On the other hand, while the Hoops are expected to fetch a decent transfer fee for Edouard, it will be a massive task to find someone capable of replacing him on the pitch.
