Celtic are expected to look for a new manager this summer, after Neil Lennon stepped down from his role, leaving John Kennedy in interim charge.
And while there is the possibility that Kennedy could be handed the role on a permanent basis, after the nightmare season that they have had to endure, fans will be expecting the club to bring in a big name manager to turn things around as quickly as possible. Now, the big question is, who could that manager be?
A number of interesting names have been linked with the job in recent months. These have ranged from Rafa Benitez to Eddie Howe and Roberto Martinez to Frank Lampard. And another surprising candidate whose name has been mentioned quite a lot recently is current Burnley manager Sean Dyche.
Carlton Palmer believes that Dyche could do very well at Parkhead if given the chance. While speaking with FootballFanCast, he said:
"“No disrespect to Burnley, I think he’s deserved the chance of a bigger job. And, yeah, I could see Sean Dyche, who’s proven he can work on a shoestring budget, going to Celtic and doing very, very well.”"

Dyche could be great at Celtic, but can they get him?
Dyche has done a brilliant job during his time at Burnley. Joining the club back in 2012, he has won them promotion to the Premier League on two occasions and has now kept them in the top division of English football for five straight seasons. They even finished 7th in the 2017/2018 season.
Thus, it is not hard to see why he is so highly-rated and one would expect him to do a great job for The Hoops. But can the club bring him to Parkhead?
Recently, there have been rumours about him leaving Burnley but even if that was to happen, there would surely be interest in him from other Premier League clubs.
It is also important to note that there might be questions about the style of football that Dyche’s teams play and whether that would be suited to a club like Celtic.
