David Moyes has been linked with a move to Celtic in the past and it is not hard to see why. He is without a doubt, a top class manager and one who could do a superb job at Parkhead.
He ticks all the boxes that a manager can, when it comes to managing at Celtic. He has a world of experience, having managed the likes of Manchester United, Everton, West Ham United and Real Sociedad in the past. He has also shown that he can get the best out of a team, even when working on a tight budget. And finally, he has played for the Hoops as well.
There were rumours linking him with the club in the past but ultimately the move did not happen. Those rumours have re-emerged once again though and there might be an opportunity for the Hoops to make their move this time around.
As reported by TEAMtalk, the manager has been contacted regarding his interest in a possible Celtic move, although West Ham United are expected to try and tie him down to a long-term deal after the brilliant job that he has done with The Hammers, as they find themselves challenging for a top four spot.

David Moyes would be brilliant, but can Celtic get him?
There is no question that Moyes would be a brilliant appointment for the Hoops. He is a manager whose quality is perhaps on the same level as that of Brendan Rodgers, who enjoyed great success at Parkhead before leaving for Leicester City.
But it is hard to imagine him wanting to leave West Ham United at this point of time, especially with the possibility that they could be playing in Europe next season. So, while contact might have been made between the two parties, it is unlikely that any move will come to fruition.
There are still a lot of other interesting names doing the rounds though, including the likes of Rafa Benitez, Eddie Howe, Roberto Martinez and Frank Lampard. And the club would have done brilliantly to appoint any of them.
