After the season that Celtic have endured, it is expected that Neil Lennon will be shown the exit door at the end of the campaign. While the manager has insisted that he has no plans of moving on, they might not exactly align with that of the club.
With Peter Lawwell stepping down, Dominic McKay will be replacing him at Parkhead. And he will have his work cut out for him if he is to guide the club back to the pinnacle of Scottish football.
Any change should begin with that of the manager. And a number of high-profile names have been linked with the Celtic job over the last few months.
Eddie Howe is the one whose name has been doing the rounds for the longest time, although Rafa Benitez has also emerged as an out of the box option after he left his job in China. Frank Lampard is another who could land the job. But as reported by The Sun, the Hoops are looking at John Terry as a possible option as well.

Could John Terry do the job at Celtic?
It is undeniable that Terry has done a brilliant job as assistant manager of Aston Villa. They are currently enjoying a brilliant campaign in the Premier League and as a result, the Chelsea legend is not expected to remain in the role of an assistant for too much longer.
While Bournemouth appear to be favourites at this point of time to land him, if that does not come off, the Hoops should not completely rule out appointing him in the summer.
Obviously, he should not be the top priority as more experienced options like Howe and Benitez must get preference due to their proven track record. But if those moves fail, it might not be the worst idea in the world to go after someone like Terry instead of getting somebody from the Scottish Premiership.
People like Terry have played at the top level for decades and have all the knowledge and contacts that come with it. That is certainly an asset Celtic could do with.
