Neil Lennon’s hint about team selection ahead of tomorrow’s all-important game against the Rangers will have the Celtic fans worried.
After a disastrous run that saw them win only two games from twelve, it is safe to say that Celtic have managed to steady the ship a bit. The Hoops have won six straight and will be going into tomorrow’s Glasgow Derby with some decent momentum on their side.
The turnaround came when Neil Lennon decided to bring some changes into the side after months of underperforming. The introduction of Ismaila Soro and David Turnbull clearly made a world of difference as both of them have been standout performers. The duo of Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths also seems to be flourishing up top.
And while it looks like all four of them will feature against the Rangers, the picture could be different when it comes to the rest of the team.
Speaking with Celtic TV, Lennon said:
"“It is one that’s working for us at the minute. It gives me two strikers on and good legs in midfield as well. And it just suits the players at the minute but then I don’t know if we will go with that, or we can afford to go with at the weekend. We will assess it over the next couple days."
He did confirm that Edouard, Griffiths, Turnbull and Soro are available and it does seem that he is planning to start them all:
"“We’re not contemplating losing the game. We’re going in there with a positive frame of mind and we have to play a lot better than we did here in October whenever it was but then, but we got Christie, Edouard, Griffiths, Turnbull and Soro and they’re all available to play. So hopefully that’ll give us a real spark going into this game.”"

The diamond midfield behind the strike duo has worked very well over the past few weeks and the Hoops have played some of their best football this season using it. But that could very well change which would be a huge worry for the fans.
He has already confirmed that Soro, Christie and Turnbull will play, which only leaves McGregor out. And it does seem very unlikely that he will be left out either considering how much the manager relies on him.
Now, the big question going into the game is whether Lennon will try and fit in Scott Brown into his line-up. With the rise of Soro, it has become difficult to find a place for the captain in the starting XI. But the manager might decide to rely on his experience tomorrow, which could end up being the wrong move and disrupt the momentum that has built up.
