Celtic have reportedly reached an agreement with Odsonne Edouard and his representatives regarding his future at the club.
A lot has been written and speculated about the future of Odsonne Edouard over the past year or so. The Frenchman is the best player in Scotland on his day. Unfortunately for Celtic, those days have been few and far between this season.
Edouard has looked like a shadow of his former self, as rumours continue to circulate that he is looking for a move away from Parkhead. It is a difficult situation for Celtic as well as there are less than two years left on his current contract. But with 10IAR on the line, they decided to hold on to him through the summer.
The Frenchman has struggled in front of goal this season though. And there have been fresh rumours that he could be allowed to leave in January for a transfer fee, so that the Hoops can rebuild their squad.

Recent reports from the Daily Record suggest otherwise though. Apparently, the club have agreed with Edouard and his representatives they will let him go if the right bid comes in. But that won’t be happening this January. And when it eventually does, they will be looking for a transfer fee in the region of £30 million.
If indeed accurate then this clears up the future of the striker. Even recently, there have been a lot of rumours surrounding his future with Italian giants like AC Milan and Juventus reportedly interested in acquiring the services of the Frenchman.
Hopefully, now Edouard can rediscover his form. At the end of the day, that will be the best for everyone involved. The club will have their best player back performing on the pitch. While the player will only increase his chances of getting himself a big move in the summer.
