Juventus have decided to join the growing list of admirers for the in-demand Celtic star as a January exit is starting to look very likely.

With Celtic trailing the Rangers by 16 points in the Premiership, although they have three games in hand, it is clear that they need to make some moves in January in order to save their 10IAR campaign. It is unlikely that they will have too much money to spend though considering the financial impact that the global pandemic has had on clubs around Europe.

As a result, they might have to let one of their stars leave before they can bring in any new faces. And unfortunately, it looks like that man might end up being Odsonne Edouard.

The Frenchman has looked out of form this season as questions have been asked about his dedication to the cause at hand. In 20 appearances, he has scored just 9 goals, which is far below what you expect from a player of his quality.

And with his contract quickly running out as well, the club might very well decide to cash in in January. In that case though, they won’t have any lack of suitors.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus have added Edouard to their transfer wishlist. Names like Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa and Leeds United have been already linked with the striker in the past.

If the reports are indeed true then it is great for Celtic. If they do decide to part ways with the Frenchman, they will want as big a transfer fee as possible for him. Back in the summer, he was rated at around £30 million. And if they they can get a fee near that amount, they can use it to easily bring in 3-4 new faces.

While none of them might be as good as Edouard individually, ultimately together they could make the team better.
