Alfredo Morelos left red-faced as Celtic post backfires
Alfredo Morelos was left red-faced after his Celtic social media post from last night ended up backfiring in spectacular fashion.
Celtic went on to make more history last night when they walked out of Hampden Park with another Treble, their fourth successive one, a feat that will most probably never be emulated. It was not smooth sailing though.
At one point, it looked like the Hoops were going to walk their way to the Scottish Cup when they went into half-time with a comfortable 2-0 lead. But not for the first time this season, they managed to squander it and ultimately had to win a penalty shootout to complete their Quadruple Treble.
Alfredo Morelos might have jumped the gun though when Hearts scored their second to draw things level. As reported by Celts Are Here, the Colombian striker posted a picture on his Instagram of him shushing. The timing looks a bit too convenient for it to be a mere co-incidence. Whatever the intention behind the post was, the Rangers fans took it as a direct message to their Glasgow rivals and joined in on the pre-mature celebrations.

Obviously, it ended up backfiring spectacularly. Ultimately, the Bhoys would get the job done and lift the Scottish Cup. Yes, it was by the skin of their teeth but the history books will only have the name of the winners, not the manner in which they won it.
The focus will now turn towards the Premiership though. There is no hope of the Hoops winning the Treble this season as well as a result of their elimination from the Scottish League Cup already at the hands of Ross County.
10IAR should now be the only thing that matters this season. They find themselves well behind the Rangers right now but they have started to show chinks in the armours recently as well with some shaky performances. And we all know that Steven Gerrard’s side do not like pressure. So let’s put some on them.
