The angry Celtic fans have turned their attention from Neil Lennon to Peter Lawwell as the club continue to struggle in their quest for 10IAR.

After their 4-1 win over Motherwell heading into the international break, Celtic fans would have been hoping that the club could use that result as a springboard to bring their season back on track. But they are back to square one after a  2-2 win away at Easter Road against Hibernian.

The Bhoys did put up a good fightback to get a point from the game after being 2-0 down. But just two wins from the last eight games just isn’t good enough. And some changes need to be made and quickly.

Naturally, most of the blame has fallen on the shoulders of Neil Lennon. The manager has seemed devoid of ideas and incapable of motivating the squad despite 10IAR being on the line. And you would have to think that he will get sacked if results don’t improve over the next few games.

But Celtic fans are not just prepared to put it all on Lennon. In their eyes, Peter Lawwell and the board are equally responsible for the mess the club find themselves in:

It is safe to say that things cannot go on like this for much longer. There is too much on the line for that to happen.

Yes, the board backed the manager in the transfer window this season. But after having seen the players play, you have to question their scouting. Shane Duffy looks like a player incapable of playing in Celtic’s system. David Turnbull has not gotten a sniff in the first-team. Neither Albian Ajeti nor Vasilis Barkas have managed to establish themselves. Diego Laxalt looks like the only one who has been a success.

No single person is responsible for what we are going through at the moment. The manager, the player, the board and the scouting team, everybody deserves part of the blame. Let’s just hope that they can fix this mess up sooner rather than later. And if hard decisions need to be taken for that to happen, so be it.
