Celtic have been handed a major boost as it looks like the star is well on his to recovery after being out for months with an injury.

Celtic need to improve and quickly if they are to keep their hopes of 10IAR alive. They have managed just two wins from their last seven games in all competitions and already find themselves chasing the Rangers in the Premiership.

As things stand, Steven Gerrard’s have a 9 point lead although the Hoops have a couple of games in hand. Points on board are key though and now Neil Lennon’s side must make sure that they win those two games.

It looks like they have been handed a major boost though as Christopher Jullien looks very close to returning. The Frenchman has been out for over two months nursing a back injury and was even sent abroad to deal with the issue.

He is back in training though and posted a positive update on Twitter on his road to recovery:

It will be great to have Jullien back in the squad. Although he has received a lot of stick during his time at Parkhead, it is undeniable that they have looked like a much worse side since he has been out of the picture.

Shane Duffy was brought in to provide solidity to the backline but appears to have had the opposite effect. At this point of time, he looks like a mistake waiting to happen. But Neil Lennon is pretty much forced to keep starting him due to a lack of options at this point.

That could very well change though when Jullien is back in the first-team fold. Maybe he will reform his partnership with Kristoffer Ajer in the heart of defence. Or perhaps Lennon will give 3-5-2 another shot with more players available to him.
