The Celtic man might be set to be left out of the squad that travel to face Hibernian at Easter Road after it appears that he recently got married.

While it might not play a huge part in Neil Lennon’s plans for the game against Hibernian at Easter Park on Saturday, it looks like Celtic are set to miss Ismaila Soro from the squad as it looks like he recently got married.

The midfielder posted a couple of pictures of himself and his wife. The first shows them in traditional attire while the second appears to show them taking their wedding vows. And it is more than likely that the entire ceremony took place in his homeland of Ivory Coast.

In this case, he will most probably have to isolate when he returns to Scotland and won’t be a part of the squad that is set to take on Hibernian.

When Soro arrived at Celtic in January of this year, he came with a lot of expectations. The Ivorian had managed to earn a lot of plaudits playing for Israeli side Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv. So much so that many had compared his style to that of French World Cup winner N’Golo Kante and tipped him to be a success story at Parkhead.

One year on though and we are yet to see much of Soro. In fact, he has played just 25 minutes of football for the Hoops. That is certainly not enough for any player to impress. And the thing is, he has not been terrible when given the chance. Thus, it is confusing why Neil Lennon will not take a shot on him. Especially when the club are not doing very well.

All that debate is for another day though. Right now, we would like to send our best wishes to the couple and hope that they have a happy life together ahead of them.
