Celtic fans have reacted to the latest rumours linking the club with another loan move for Fraser Forster, who has failed to get a game at Southampton.
When Celtic managed to sign Vasilis Barkas from AEK Athens for a fee reported to be around €5 million, it had looked like the club had finally managed to leave Fraser Forster behind and move on.
The Englishman had enjoyed a very successful loan spell at the club last season but had then refused to return this time around when given the chance in the summer. It was thought at the time that he had a chance to break into the Southampton first-team but as it turns out, he is yet to play a game this season. As a result, a move might be back on the cards.
Normally, you would say that you would not take a player back who had refused to show up despite having the chance. But with 10IAR up in the air, a large number of the fans seem happy enough to give Forster a second chance.

Definitely, we know what he can do, unhappy with the way he left but if it's an option it be daft not to consider

The biggest problem right now is that Barkas has failed to quite find his feet in Scottish football yet. While some of the flak he has caught might be unjustified, there is no denying the fact that he is yet to put in a standout performance for Celtic and the club has missed the English keeper’s presence at the back.
Scott Bain has never looked like he was good enough to be the first choice at the club but has been the preferred choice over the last few weeks. And as a result, it might not be the worst idea in the world to bring in Forster until Barkas adjusts to life at Parkhead.
Of course, there is still over a month left before the transfer window reopens. If the Greek international manages to establish himself by then, then the Hoops might not have to bring in another keeper in January. But if that does not happen, do not be surprised to see Forster turning up at Parkhead once again.
