Celtic transfer target admits he is still waiting for offer
The Celtic transfer target has admitted that he still has not received an offer from the Hoops but appears to be open to a move to Parkhead.
Multiple sources have linked Celtic with a swoop for Austrian born winger Husein Balić. Currently plying his trade for LASK in the Austrian Bundesliga, there is speculation he could provide competition on the left flank for the Hoops.
Intriguingly, the winger is eligible internationally for his native Austria alongside Bosnia and Herzegovina. Communicating with Bosnian media outlets, Balić seemingly didn’t deny making a potential move to the Parkhead club. The Glasgow Live reports him as saying:
"“I also read that in the media. We need to wait and see how much truth there is in all this, that is, how concrete it is. But I don’t care much for that. I focus now only on the national team and my club. The work needs to be done on the pitch in the right way, and we will see if there is an offer.”"
Famed for his lightning speed, the 24-year-old would be able to stretch defences with his distinctive running power. Undoubtedly at times this campaign, Celtic have lacked an urgency within their attacking play which has attributed to below-par performances in certain games.

Competent at bursting past markers, delivering tricky balls into the opposition box and with a keen eye for goal, his quality is there for all to witness.
Signing the former Austria under-21 international, could offer an attractive alternative solution for Neil Lennon in attack and inject a new lease of life into the Hoops offense. Statistically in all competitions in 2019/20, Balić managed to score 8 goals and provide 5 assists as well. Aiding his side in the process to a fourth-place finish coupled with reaching the last-16 of the Europa League.
As a result, it is not too hard to understand why English clubs Southampton and Brentford are apparently keeping tabs on the sought-after winger, Neil Lennon will need to move promptly to secure his signature.
