Four Celtic players involved amid new international worry
Four Celtic stars have been involved in another international worry as the scheduled game had to be called off after a positive test.
Here we go again. It was not too long ago that Celtic’s season had been thrown into chaos as a result of a number of their players being ruled out due to either testing positive or coming in contact with people who had.
As a result, the thought process behind organising international games in the midst of a global pandemic was brought into question. But all of it was soon forgotten and nothing changed.
Here we are again, in the midst of another international break. And there already appears to be an worry regarding the players away on national duty.

Last night it had been reported that two Israeli players had been told to isolate after one had tested positive while the other was adjudged to be a close contact. And now it has been confirmed that the match between Israel and Norway has been called off with the advice of the Norwegian Directorate of Health.
Four Celtic players, namely Mohamed Elyounoussi, Kristoffer Ajer, Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed, were part of the camps of the two sides. Although Ajer was not set to be involved due to a groin injury that he suffered recently.
The reason behind the cancellation was the positive test of the Israeli player, which would suggest that the Norwegian duo are safe. Bitton and Elhamed had both caught the virus the last time around though and one would hope that neither of them can catch it once again this soon due to the antibodies still being in their system.
That does not take away from the fact though that those on international duty are in constant danger of getting infected. And the fact that nothing has been done to stop these games from being played in the middle of a pandemic is a major worry.
