Mohamed Elyounoussi is not the only player caught using a phone on the Celtic bench as a similar instance happened back in August.
It is safe to say that Celtic have much bigger fish to fry at the moment than worry about Mohamed Elyounoussi being pictured on his phone on the bench after their 4-1 defeat at the hands of Sparta Prague.
The visitors have not played a league game in over a month and had lost their previous two Europa League ties 4-1 against Lille and 3-0 against AC Milan, respectively. And Celtic somehow managed to make them look like 1970 Brazil in a 4-1 defeat. It was also the Hoops’ third consecutive defeat at home for the first time in 30 years.
As things stand, they have managed only one win in their last six games and Neil Lennon must be walking the managerial tightrope right now. Cause if he is not, he should be with rumours growing regarding a possible move for Eddie Howe.

One of the biggest controversies coming out of the game though was the fact that Mohamed Elyounoussi was caught using his phone after being substituted off. And considering the Hoops lost the game 4-1, his phone should have been the last thing on his mind.
As it turns out though, it is not the first time that this happened at the club. In fact, it was just back in August that Karamoko Dembele was pictured holding his phone sitting on the bench against Kilmarnock. You can see the pictures in this article in The Scottish Sun.
That did not get much media attention back then though as the big story coming out of the game was that Boli Bolingoli had featured despite coming back from a trip from Spain without telling the club authorities. And probably it should not be that big of an issue right now either. It is a big worry though that the players are in the mood to check their phones just minutes after losing a European tie in terrible fashion.
