Celtic are bracing for a £10 million bid from the French side for their star midfielder in the January transfer window.
With 10IAR up for grabs, Celtic have not made the greatest start to their season. And they are in the middle of their worst phases of form, with only one win in their last five games. As a result, they find themselves 9 points behind the Rangers at the top of the table although they have played a couple of games less and they have the chance of cutting down the lead to 3 points if they win their games in hand.
As a result, they cannot afford to lose any more of their players right now. Which is bad news though as it appears that they are set to receive a £10 million bid from French side Nice. The Celtic Huddle Podcast featuring Mark Wilson, Simon Donnelly and Murdo Macleod broke the exclusive news.

Christie’s contract is running out soon and is only till the summer of 2022. And if he does not end up signing an extension soon then the club could be forced to cash in on him.
Of course, they should not even think about letting go of Christie in January. They do not have enough quality players in the squad right now to cope up with a loss like that especially with 10IAR up for grabs.
And even next season, they can do better than get just £10 million for the services of a full Scottish international like Christie. In 110 appearances for the Hoops, he has scored 36 goals and provided 34 assists.
