The pundit has made a bold prediction about Neil Lennon’s Celtic future following the Hoops’ terrible form after the international break.
When you are the manager at Celtic, you are expected to always win. Unfortunately, Neil Lennon has not managed to do that over the last few weeks.
They came out of the international break with a terrible performance that saw them lose 2-0 at home against the Rangers in the Glasgow Derby. On the day, the Hoops never even looked like they were trying to win or even get a goal back against their heated rivals.
This was followed by an improved performance yet losing effort against AC Milan in the Europa League. And then a 3-3 draw against Aberdeen in the Premiership means that the club have conceded 8 goals and scored just 4 over the last three games. Simply not good enough.
Former Celtic star Kris Commons believes that Neil Lennon could be shown the exit door as soon as next week if things don’t improve drastically. As reported by The Scottish Sun, he said in the Daily Mail:
"“If Celtic end up getting turned over in those two games, I genuinely feel Lennon will be in serious danger of losing his job this time next week.“Deep down, he will probably know that himself. If avoiding defeat yesterday managed to stave off a full-blown crisis, he will know he’s not out of the woods yet.“He’s still under major pressure in this season where, in the eyes of Celtic supporters, every single dropped point merits at least a government inquiry.”"

The pressure will be much more intense on both the players and the manager with 10IAR up for grabs this season. And it is starting to look like they are wilting under the pressure collectively.
They just have not played like a unit this season. Yes, moments of individual brilliance has saved them from time to time but that is getting harder with every passing week. And it is not entirely Lennon’s fault, the lion’s share of the blame will fall on his shoulders inevitably as the manager of the team.
While Celtic fans have not agreed with most of what Kris Commons has said as a pundit, there is no denying that he might have just hit the nail on the head here. Lennon might have survived three bad results on the trot, but it is only a matter of time before he is sacked if the results don’t improve quickly.
