The Brendan Rodgers signing struggled during his time at Celtic but seems to have turned his career after leaving the club on loan.
Celtic have struggled badly for form this season. In their last three games, they have let in 8 goals, scoring only 4 in return and currently are amidst one of their roughest phases in recent memory.
Neil Lennon is walking the managerial tightrope and seems to be only a few more bad results away from getting sacked. But a large part of the blame has to fall on the players as well. While the tactics have been questionable, you cannot overlook the fact that a number of them have looked completely out of form and not playing as a team.
So it will be extremely frustrating for the club to see players they let go doing well while those at Parkhead continue to struggle. We already know of the goal-scoring exploits of Lewis Morgan at Inter Miami and Jonathan Afolabi has also enjoyed a brilliant start to his loan spell at Dundee. And now, it looks like Jack Hendry might be another player that we had written off a little too quick.

Hendry had joined Celtic during the Brendan Rodgers era for a reported transfer fee of around £1.5 million but never managed to establish himself in the first-team. He seems to be doing pretty well with Belgian side KV Oostende.
Oostende were in deep trouble last season and were probably saved from relegation due to the league being forced to be called off. Hendry’s arrival appear to have turned things around though. Playing in a back three, he has appeared in four games for them with the club winning all four and has managed to keep three clean-sheets as well. On top of that, he also has a goal to his name already.
Celtic’s backline on the other hand has struggled badly this season as Lennon continues to find the search for the combination that will fit them best. And one can only wonder whether Hendry could have done a good job if given the chance.
