Celtic might have been handed another blow heading into tomorrow’s Glasgow Derby as one star was missing from the club’s final training before the game.
It is safe to say that Celtic have had their fair share of bad luck over the past week or so. Odsonne Edouard, Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed all tested positive while away on international duty. And Ryan Christie was placed in isolation for 14 days after it was adjudged that he came in close contact with Stuart Armstrong, who tested positive while with the Scotland national team.
There has been some good news recently though, as it was confirmed today that Albian Ajeti was fit again and available for selection. Edouard on the other hand was back in Glasgow and was waiting to be assessed by the club.
Out of nowhere, there could be another problem for the Hoops though. The club released footage of their last training session ahead of the game but eagle-eyed Celtic fans noticed that Christopher Jullien was missing.

Jullien has had his injury struggles in recent weeks and has not featured in over a month. But with both Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed out, he was expected to start against the Rangers after it was thought that he had recovered. This throws that into doubt though.
Of course, the Frenchman might have been given the day off in case he picked up something minor in the past few days so that he can play tomorrow. And all this could be nothing. But with the sheer number of players set to miss tomorrow, fans are bound to be worried.
If Jullien is indeed out then that throws the idea of a three man backline completely out of the window. Hopefully, that is not going to be the case though and the Frenchman will be on the pitch when Steven Gerrard’s side come visiting.
