Celtic, like many other teams, take the opportunity over any sort of break to travel around the world and train for what’s ahead. The Bhoys escaped the cold weather for a period of time and are currently in Dubai.

The Hoops still have a bit of time left in the city of the United Arab Emirates. Celtic will host Brechin on the 20th in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup before the Scottish Premiership starts right back up again.

It’s going to be a crucial second half of the season for the Bhoys. Celtic are currently lined up for a season full of silverware domestically, but face some stiff competition in the Europa League with Zenit.

This trip allows for the players to refresh themselves while building the already strong chemistry of the club. Fans have already seen that Patrick Roberts made the trip to Dubai after Paddy posted a picture of him and Kieran Tierney on the plane.

The transfer market is always going to be hectic with players rumored to either arrive or exit from a respective club. There’s a long list of Celtic players that might be out in January, but everybody seemed to make the trip which is always a good sign.

Brendan Rodgers has had his hands full in the transfer business as rumors continue to swirl around the Glasgow side. Recent addition Marvin Compper completed his first training session in Dubai with the Celts and seemed pretty happy while doing it.

More from The Celtic Bhoys

Rodgers had a lot to say about the trip to Dubai. The Scotsman notes that Rodgers feels as if the training sessions will help the team “focus” on the goals that he set at the beginning of the campaign.

"“It’s been a really tough season up to the break and this gives us a chance to recharge and put some good coaching into the players, but also to give them a chance to connect again in great weather.“We packed so much into the first part of the season so this gives us a chance to focus a lot on the principles of our game and we will look to put that in place when we start back again on the 20th of January.”"

The boss already knows that the Bhoys have completed a lot of their targets that were set. As a result, Celtic are lined up with a pretty successful campaign ahead of them.

At the moment, the Celts aren’t the only team training in Dubai. Aberdeen recently started their training sessions in the city, and their season is flowing smoothly as they sit in second place on the Premiership table.

It’s always nice to see teams take trips like this. Celtic look to be having fun with the training, which adds to the overall improvement of the club. The Bhoys won’t just spread the game into Dubai, but they will hopefully create more green and white fans around the world too.
